emily is a playwright, librettist, screenwriter, and performer.

Her work has been developed and produced by American Conservatory Theater, Village Theatre, WP Theatre, First Floor Theatre, Prospect Theatre Company, Musical Theatre Factory, New York Musical Festival, and others. Her residencies include SPACE on Ryder Farm, the Eugene O'Neill Theatre Center, Goodspeed Musicals, and the Orchard Project (upcoming).

Emily is a 2018 Jonathan Larson Grant Recipient and a 2018 Kleban Prize Finalist.

She is currently at work on a Tegan & Sara jukebox musical about queer first love; Afloat, a climate change adventure musical, with Zoe Sarnak; and a pilot script about the future of acting.

When not writing, Emily teaches high schoolers through the college access program SEO Scholars. And whenever possible, she sings.
